Marco Moretti «El Tano»came to know the Argentine tango in 1985 in the famous bar "Trottoirs de Buenos Aires“ in Paris.  He came in touch with many legendary milongueros of the time, who shaped his tango feeling and introduced him to the music and the dance. Accordingly, Marco, who lives in Paris since 1982, became one of the first Europeans to discover tango and to become passionate about it. A Milonguero at heart, Marco favors the Milonguero dance stile and is a frequent participant in encuentros across France and Italy. He considers himself privileged to hold the ladies, as queens of the milonga, in his arm. 

Trottoirs de Buenos-Aires“ 

In the year 1981, Argentines living in exile in Paris (some with big names like Susana Rinaldi) established the bar  "Trottoirs de Buenos Aires“. It became a magnet for lovers of the tango music and has, until its closure in 1994, an enormous influence in making tango popular across Europe. The legendary orchestra Sexteto Mayor played at the opening and showed since then regularly at the location. A disc cover of the orchestra carries the name "Trottoirs de Buenos Aires“. 

Den argentinischen Tango lernte Marco Moretti «El Tano»  in  der legendären Bar "Trottoirs de Buenos Aires“ in Paris im Jahr 1985 kennen und für immer lieben. Damit ist Marco, der seit 1982 in Paris lebt, einer der ersten Europäer, der den Tango, wie wir ihn heute kennen, entdeckt hat. Er kam mit vielen legendären Milongueros in Berührung, die sein Tangoverständnis und seinen Tanz geprägt haben. Marco entwickelte eine besondere Leidenschaft für die Musik, die ihn tief berührte. Tanzend bevorzugt er den "Milonguero“ Stil. Er ist ein aktiver Teilnehmer in Encuentros, insbesondere in Frankreich und Italien, und schätzt sich glücklich, Frauen, die Königinnen der Milonga, im Arm zu halten.

Für die Tangueros der ersten Generation im Sueddeutschen Raum, ganz besonders in Stuttgart, ist Marco durch sein Mitwirken in der Tango Vorstadt bekannt. Unvergessen sind die Auftritte des jungen, eleganten Italieners mit Ute Frühwirth bei den berühmten Tangofesten.    

 „Trottoirs de Buenos-Aires" 

Von Exilargentiniern  (darunter grosse Namen wie Susana Rinaldi)  im Jahre 1981 in Paris gegründet, wirkte "Trottoirs de Buenos Aires“ bis zur Schliessung im Jahre 1994 als ein Magnet für Liebhaber der Tango-Musik. Das grosse Orchester Sexteto Mayor bestritt die Einweihung und gastierte in der Location regelmäßig. Ein Plattencover des Orchesters trägt den Namen "Trottoirs de Buenos Aires“.

Ho studiato con i più famosi maestri di tango, ma la mia passione è la musica, che emoziona nel profondo, dà voce alla mia anima latina.
